Calder walk in Hoogvliet

CBK Rotterdam organizes an informal art walk in Hoogvliet with the monumental sculpture Le Tamanoir in the leading role, in addition to Calder Now. Walk along artworks by Calder and fellow artists such as Henk Visch, Ian Pieters, Ek van Zanten, Dick and Chris Elffers, Gust Romijn, Bob Bonies, Jan Schoonhoven. We step through a post-war residential area, into nature, along the river, art and architecture.

For more than 55 years the sculpture of steel Le Tamanoir by Alexander Calder is in Hoogvliet.Experience Calder’s ‘anteater’ in real life and sneak CBK Rotterdam Calder in Hoogvliet art tours – planned for next year between March – May 2022.

The Calder art walk at Sunday November 28th, starts at 11 a.m at metro station Hoogvliet and stops at metro station Zalmplaat around 1.30/2 p.m.

Art Walk is free. We follow the RIVM guidelines.
